Whitney Cummings New Orleans reviews
Disappointing Show
With a sold out show, I was hoping for pure comedy entertainment. The show was supposed to start at 7:30p.m. and Whitney came onto the stage after 8:00p.m. It took 15 to 20 minutes of finding a military couple from the back to take the two open seats in the front. It appeared staged. Every other word was an F bomb which I did expect but became old and tiring. The crowd was out of control which showed that she had no control. Her opening statement was that she did not like old material but most of the show was of her reading from yellow legal paper, jokes from a roast she did four plus years ago about people who are not relevant to today. Joan Rivers is dead, Pam Anderson and David Hasselhoff are long ago Bay Watch. Repeatedly talking about Lisa Lappenelli. When it was obvious that she really did not prepare, she looked at her phone a few times stating that she would end the show so the crowd could get selfies of her in the background. I was not interested at all. The show was supposed to go 90 minutes and she only was on the stage talking for about 40 minutes. AND, with a microphone, she was shouting. Very annoying. I love comedy and have seen many comedians who were members of the Chelsey Lately round table who were really good but Whitney was the worst. I would not even pay $1.00 to see her ever again.
Phenomenal
OMG had the pleasure of attending this phenomenal Touch Me Tour in Anaheim at the City National Grove. It was incredible seeing Emily do a few bits introduce Benton who was on point about Anaheim only thing people know about the city is Disneyland turn to Katie Thurston be fearless on stage and kill it for me then back again with the awesome blossoms Emily and Benton respond to ?s then you Bap Bap Bap it w/the WHITNEY killing it on stage. OMG I needed to just LAUGH stomp and rock back and forth at times just laughing. Well needed moment just to get away and enjoy a different mindset fueled by comedy. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
